Complex and intricate plastic part injection ReDent Nova SAF INFINITUM endodontic system

ReDent Nova GmbH & Co. Kg. is an innovative developer, manufacturer, and distributor of novel healthcare products. Its leading product is the SAF INFINITUM  System, an innovative endodontic technology, that enables dentists to perform a highly successful three-dimensional root canal treatment. 

After an intense period of research and development for their new, innovative, and revolutionary SAF INFINITUM endodontic system, ReDent Nova set their sights to transform its game-changing dental system from prototype to product, with an official global Q4-2021 launch date.

To turn this into a reality, ReDent Nova searched for a manufacturer that not only held the experience and technical know-how to plan, engineer, and produce the many complex plastic elements required for the SAF INFINITUM control unit, but also offered a personal level of service and communication. ReDent Nova wanted a company they could work with, plan with, think with and talk to every step of the way!

ReDent Novas' new endodontic system required manufacturing unusually complex and intricate plastic parts with particularly high tolerance levels, and exceptionally thin wall thickness; all working together to provide high accuracy assembly as well as smooth and fail-proof operation.

The project entailed a combination of exceptionally short delivery times, continuous and concentrated collaboration with two leading engineering agencies in Israel, each in charge of planning and engineering different parts of the unit as well as working with one of the leading manufactures in Germany, in charge of manufacturing all the units' consumable parts, ALL IN THE MIDST OF THE SURREAL COVID-19 REALITY.

Working closely with the ReDent Novas' research & development team, the Shaar Giora engineering team defined the optimal compound that could both withstand the extreme electronic and mechanic parameters required for the smooth operation of this innovative dental system as well as adhere to stringent CE standards of quality.

Once the compound was selected, our expert manufacturing team planned and designed the precise manufacturing processes to inject the wide range of complex and intricate pieces required.
